RSRTC e-Ticket Booking/Cancellation FAQs

Question: How many types of bus services are allowed for e-ticket booking?
Answer: Volvo LCD screen, Volvo Pantry LCD screen, Volvo Pantry, Volvo-Mercedes, Air Condition, A.C. Sleeper, A.C. Gandhi Rath, Deluxe, Semi-Deluxe, and Express.

Question: How many days in advance I can book an e-ticket?
Answer: You may book e-Ticket before 30 days of scheduled departure day of desired bus service (excluding departure day). E-Ticket booking closed before 30 minutes of scheduled departure time of any bus service.

Question: What are the timings for e-Ticket cancellation and reservation?
Answer: e-Ticket reservation and cancellation is allowed only between 00:30 to 23:30 IST (23 hours open).

Question: Can I book concessional e-ticket?
Answer: Yes, Passenger may allow booking few concessional fare tickets online. In case of e-Ticket booking of concessional ticket passenger need to produce the requires document to checking staff/conductor of RSRTC in original. Below is the list of documents, passenger need to produce any document form the list in original.

Question: Can I get refund of fare in case of non performance of journey?
Answer: No

Question: Can I get refund of fare amount, in case of cancellation of bus service or breakdown of bus service or change in bus service type?
Answer: Yes, refund or fare difference due to bus service change is processed through payment gateway. Passenger may get amount in their bank account/card. No cash will be refund to passenger. Passenger need to submit a copy of e-Ticket to respective RSRTC bus deport chief manager. Refund process will take approximately a week. Passengers may also send an email at for refund with full details of ticket along with transaction id.

Question: After e-Ticket booking can I change time, date of journey, name, age, gender etc?
Answer: No
